Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Lawrence is able to bring caring adults into the lives of hundreds of young people each year thanks in part to the generosity of people like you. Whether you make a financial contribution or volunteer your time, your support is vital to our success in helping our community's children. Most gifts of cash are fully deductible for donors who itemize their federal income tax returns. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Lawrence is a nonprofit corporation, which is classified by the IRS as exempt under the IRS Section 501(c)(3). Therefore, donations from individuals and corporations, as well as grants from private foundations, qualify for maximum tax benefits allowable by the IRS. Each donor should seek the advice of his or her own professional tax advisor. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Lawrence Development Department will be happy to assist donors and advisors in structuring their gifts. All memorial and honor gifts will be acknowledged through a personal note sent by Big Brothers Big Sisters Greater Lawrence to the honored person(s) or family and a receipt will be sent to you.
